Rosemont, IL (November 15, 2022) — Peak Construction Corporation, Janko Group, Bridge Commercial, Dorchester County and many others recently celebrated the Port 95 Groundbreaking in St. George, SC. Peak is the design/builder handling the design and construction of site work, Highway 78 widening, and the first two (2) buildings of the Port 95 Business Park. Port 95 is located near I-26, the main thoroughfare from the Port of Charleston, and I-95, the major North-South interstate connecting multiple states along the East coast.
Building 1 is 978,120 square feet, with 108 dock doors, expandable to 205, and four (4) drive-in doors. Building 2 is 242,000 square feet, with 20 dock doors, and two (2) drive-in doors. Both buildings are speculative facilities being constructed simultaneously with completion expected in spring 2024. Future Building 3 is a 240,000 square foot building.
Janko has ventured the development of Port 95 Business Park with Cresset Partners, while Bridge Commercial has been engaged as the exclusive leasing agent. Peak is teamed with architects LS3P on Building 1 and McMillan Pazdan Smith on Building 2. Seamon Whiteside is the civil engineer for both buildings, the site work and Highway 78 widening projects.
