Des Plaines, IL (November 14, 2017) — Peak Construction Corporation has been awarded a build-to-suit project by Scannell Properties in Aurora, Ohio. The 409,495 square foot facility has been designed with the ability to be split amongst multiple tenants. The precast, ballasted EPDM roof building will have 32’ clear height, 30 dock doors, knock out panels for future docks, one drive-in door, 20 trailer spaces and parking for 75 cars expandable to 150. Some unique challenges of the project include the building being designed around onsite wetlands, installation of an offsite forced sanitary main and the widening of South Chillicothe Road to relocate several power poles. Peak is teamed with Ware Malcomb Architects and Weber Engineering.
