Mike Sullivan, president and founder of Peak Construction Corporation, announces Peak’s selection by Darwin Realty to perform construction services for Midwest Transportation Land Development in the Kenosha Business Park.
“Our track record of providing added-value to developers during the land entitlement process on numerous other business parks in Illinois, Indiana, California, Wisconsin and Kansas provided Darwin with the confidence that Peak Construction Corporation was the right choice,” says Sullivan. “Peak has provided numerous project design/build services for both Darwin directly and to third-party users represented by the prestigious brokerage firm.”
The project includes 6-12 months of entitlement work with the City of Kenosha. The first building is scheduled to begin in the fourth quarter of 2007. The 100-acre Kenosha Business Park is dual-rail served by the Union Pacific Railroad and Canadian Pacific Railway with development sites and build-to-suit facilities for sale or lease. The park offers on-site short-line interconnections, transloading services, abundant parking for trailers and cars, foreign trade zones, low real estate taxes and utility costs along with a skilled and educated labor force.
Peak Construction Corporation’s project team includes John Reilly, project executive and James Michael, project superintendent. The architect is Partners In Design Architects, Inc., Kenosha, WI, civil engineer is Griswold Engineering, Racine, WI, and Darwin Realty as developer.
