Peak Construction Corporation to Build new 813,126 Square-Foot Distribution and Shared Service Center for Easton-Bell Sports

Easton-Bell Sports, Inc., a leading designer, developer and marketer of innovative sports equipment and accessories under the Easton, Bell, Riddell and Giro brands, has selected Peak Construction Corporation as the General Contractor to complete its new 813,126 Sq. Ft. Manufacturing and Distribution Shared Service Facility in Rantoul, IL., Inc. is a leading designer, developer and marketer of branded equipment and accessories that enhance athletic performance and protection.

The new Shared Service Center will be home to approximately 300 Easton-Bell employees based in Rantoul. It will include over 39,000 Sq. Ft. of office space spanning two floors and more than 775,000 Sq. Ft. of automated warehouse space.  This new construction will help facilitate Easton-Bell’s continued growth and distribution capabilities with 4 drive-in doors, 44 dock positions and 107 future dock positions.  The 78-acre property also includes a 400-space employee parking lot with additional room for 121 trailer spaces and provisions for 500,000 Sq. Ft. of pad ready future expansion.

Peak is constructing the facility for developer, The Janko Group, and teamed with the Supply Chain Alliance, a consortium of companies aligned to provide businesses with turnkey solutions to real estate and supply-chain related issues.  In addition to Peak Construction, the alliance includes Avison Young, which represented Easton-Bell Sports in multiple facets of the site selection, facility planning process and in securing the long term lease; Heitman Technologies, responsible for the architecture and facility planning; Numina Group, providing process improvement; and Competitive Insights, offering strategic supply-chain consulting.
