PeakGiving Partners with Northern Illinois Food Bank

Des Plaines, IL (December 15, 2015) —Did you know that nearly 600,000 people in northern Illinois turn to food pantries and meal programs?  According to the Hunger in America 2014 study, our hungry neighbors in northern Illinois are at risk of skipping 70 million meals each year.  That’s why Peak Construction Corporation’s philanthropic arm, PeakGiving, is pleased to promote Northern Illinois Food Bank as their chosen 2015 Holiday Charity.

“This is the second year we have partnered with the Food Bank and we’re proud to be a Circle of Hope member,” shared John Reilly, President.

With three locations servicing a 13-county area, Northern Illinois Food Bank is the source of nutritious food, innovative feeding programs, and hope for more than 71,000 people each week.  You can help, too – be a part of the Food Bank’s #75MillionMealGoalto Provide Every Meal, Every Day, for Every Hungry Neighbor by 2020.  To learn more, volunteer at or donate to Northern Illinois Food Bank, please visit www.solvehungertoday.org.
