Currently Michael is the Chief Financial Officer at Peak. His responsibilities include the overall corporate and operational financial and accounting functions. His broad responsibilities entail workflow operations in accounting, forecasting, budgeting, long-range planning, audits, tax compliance, contractor licensing, and other value-added financial analysis. He provides all required Peak financial interface and documentation for insurance, surety, banks, and title companies, as well as state and federal regulatory agencies and Peak licensing. He performs an indispensable role among Peak’s executive leadership with organizational strategic planning and direction. Additionally, he provides analytical support to both internal and external IT decisions and implementation.

Expertise Michael has been working in a construction accounting and financial management role since 2009. His focus on operational excellence and disciplined execution has enabled him to bring significant operating gains to Peak. Michael also manages Peak’s accounting department, facilitating effective and efficient performance of project-specific accounting processes. He also spearheads Peak’s tech-advanced approach, investigating and implementing many software platforms to enhance Peak’s procedures.

Experience With 18 years of experience, Michael’s invaluable financial and systematic skills have helped expand Peak, where he has overseen construction revenue activity exceeding $400M annually. Michael is also highly adept with technology and software; advancing Peak with the use of cutting-edge technology programs. Prior to joining Peak, Michael implemented new technology systems and managed the accounting functions for a mid-size distribution company. Michael was the founder of Elevate Printing, a high-end digital printing operation serving clientele ranging from prominent artists to Fortune 500 companies and has prior experience with several start-up companies.
