Challenge: Deliver a new build Hilton Garden Inn Hotel and Banquet Center as General Contractor under a very competitive design-bid-build delivery method while still bringing the design/build approach to bear in a collaborative manner for Owner’s benefit. Peak needed to help the Owner and Architect navigate changing Hilton brand standards and design coordination opportunities to positively impact the overall project cost and schedule.

Solution: Peak worked intimately with Hilton, Owner, and Design team incorporating updated Hilton Design and Construction requirements into the final product while proactively coordinating civil and A/E documents to implement cost, schedule, and aesthetic improvements. Peak moved quickly to prepare the site for year round access, implemented collaborate cost reduction systems changes associated with structure and MEP systems, and created every opportunity to exceed Owner and Hilton standards for the facility. The final product incorporated many upgrades finishes and amenities such as a river rock wall fireplace, elegant exterior fire pits and patios, and MEP system optimization for enhanced operational performance.
