Challenge:  Peak was charged with constructing Mills Business Park Phase II.  During the previously started Phase I, utility provisions were made and approved for a future Phase II.  When re-reviewing the Phase II plans, it was determined the existing water connection for the fire loop was no longer viable for the site.  This change was going to incur substantial unforeseen costs to the Owner.

Solution:  Peak rebid the precise scope of work for the additional water line connection and piping and worked with the Owner, subcontractor team and City to implement an approved solution that saved the owner significant costs and kept the project on schedule despite the unanticipated change. Peak was subsequently successful with being awarded the 90,000 sf corner tenant improvement for Wayfair.
