Challenge: Design and complete construction of a cost-effective suburban multi-tenant office as the first office project in the largest privately master-planned 320 acre community in Olathe, Kansas.
Solution: Peak worked closely with George Butler Associates to design and construct a cost-effective multi-tenant suburban office adequately parked, incorporating redundant mechanical conditioning equipment, and energy efficient lighting throughout the facility. Special site considerations included working with existing site topography, and coordinating all of the required building and project connections to public utilities with the street being simultaneously constructed. Project success required detailed work with numerous other private and public entities to obtain electrical power, natural gas, storm water drainage, sanitary sewer drainage, domestic water, fire protection water and public communication data/voice services.
