Currently Bill Sullivan joined Peak in 2007 to develop Peak’s estimating database and assist with RFP opportunities.  His position has grown to include current day-to-day responsibilities encompassing estimating on client RFPs and conceptual budgets, piloting Peak’s proprietary estimating systems which require frequent price catalog updates along with historical project costs, managing our subcontractor bidding, registration and prequal database and processes, and continuous subcontractor communication.

Expertise Bill excels within the landscape of numbers and his overall knowledge of a project’s processes ultimately results in more efficiency when estimating. His experience in scope definition across multiple trades on project types from industrial to healthcare to hospitality is a great resource in supporting the conceptual and traditional estimating process at Peak.  He is extremely detail-oriented and peels back costs to help generate value-engineering in the pre-bid process.

Experience Bill has extensive conceptual and traditional estimating experience on all of Peak’s East Coast industrial projects ranging in size from 60,000 SF to over 1M SF and all types of sites – from environmental to greenfield, balanced to unbalanced, and classified to unclassified, in addition to his estimating responsibilities for Peak’s Chicagoland and national opportunities.

Over Bill’s 16 years at Peak, he has proven to be a jack-of-all-trades.  While Bill has headed up Peak’s estimating, he has also provided superintendent management on many Peak projects including the $20M full-service Chicago Marriott Naperville hotel, the $17.2M midrise Evanston Hyatt House, the $13.2M extended-stay Marriott Residence Inn in Bolingbrook and the $7.9M extended-stay Hilton Garden Inn in Cedar Falls, IA, industrial warehouses, MOBs, TIs and CM projects, most notably, Freudenberg Household Products in Aurora, as well as project managed smaller projects. Prior to joining Peak, Bill had his own manufacturing sales business for 18 years.  Bill’s knowledge of the industry from various role perspectives makes him an essential part of Peak’s success.
