Currently Weston Cooper joined Peak as a Project Superintendent where he oversees all project-specific day-to-day field activities.  He has since been promoted to Project Superintendent II, Senior Superintendent and Field Operations Manager | East Coast.  His current responsibilities consist of managing all field staff and their respective projects, including schedule adherence, safety and jobsite documentation compliance and SWPPP, as well as, implementing and sustaining Peak’s Quality Assurance program.  Additionally, Wes works closely with Peak’s Safety Director to manage Peak’s company-wide safety program and requirements including third party safety site visits and weekly safety audits.  He also works hand-in-hand with Peak’s Operations Team as a liaison with current and new clients.

Expertise With 26 years of carpentry, superintendent and construction manager experience, Wes excels in a variety of capacities related to field management.  His construction knowledge allows him to be quick on his feet with problem-solving and making educated decisions in stressful environments, while keeping an amiable approach and providing exceptional support to the entirety of the project team.  Wes is great at scheduling subcontractors and managing weather delays ensuring the overall project is kept on schedule.   He also treats clients, and the project as a whole, as if he was building for himself.

Experience Prior to joining Peak, Wes was a Construction Manager with RJM Construction in Texas.  In addition to the many projects he’s worked on throughout his career, including co-owning his own commercial and residential construction company, Wes spent six years overseas building Government and Dept. of Defense facilities in the Middle East.  He has worked on projects ranging from $250,000 to $39M in the private sector in multiple markets and was in charge of multiple government IDIQ contracts worth $230M.  Wes has worked directly with such clients as Scannell Properties, Lowes and Trammell Crow Company, but now interfaces with all Peak’s East Coast clients in his Field Operations Manager role.
